Fingerprints, in partnership with Highlight, recently released Bit Rot by Nahiko. Bit Rot explores and visualizes the concept of data degradation, known as 'bit rot,' through the lens of NFT storage. All 512 works in the series were minted.

Fingerprints recently collaborated with Jan Robert Leegte to release Web, a network of 1000 webpages spawned in the dark, living within a smart contract. Web was coproduced with Superposition and developed by Jake Allen. All 1000 works were minted.

The Fingerprints Curation Committee has approved the acquisition of 31 pieces from the collection "The Boys of Summer" by Mitchell F. Chan, and has become its 3rd largest collector as of Sept. 8th, 2023.

As part of Onchain Summer, Fingerprints, Highlight, and Coinbase worked with Melissa Wiederrecht, James Merrill, Holger Lippmann, and Leander Herzog to release four generative art collections on Base (L2). Over 15,000 artworks were minted.

The migration has launched and members are now able to convert their $PRINTS in batches of 5,000 into Voxelglyph NFTs (designed by Larva Labs).
The launch featured an auction for Voxelglyph #1, which settled at 6.5ETH.

The proposal to migrate from the current $PRINTS governance token to a membership NFT has been approved by the DAO via Snapshot. Larva Labs will be the ones designing the artwork for the membership NFT.

Fingerprints has partnered with Generative.xyz to produce "Perceptrons", an experimental collection of on-chain AI models hosted on the Bitcoin blockchain. The auction was completed on April 7th. The team continues to work to launch more interesting drops in the near future.

Le Centre Pompidou has acquired a set of NFTs, making it the first public institution in France to do so. The acquisition was part of the National Museum of Modern Art's strategy to support artists in their use of new means of creation.
Within the set of acquired NFTs, there are works from collected artists Larva Labs (CryptoPunk #110, Autoglyph #25), Sarah Meyohas (Bitchcoin, Cloud of Petals) and John F. Simon Jr (Every Icon #419).

Fingerprints has acquired 7 pieces from the project “Negative Value Certificates” by Steve Pikelny. The work consists of tokens ‘backed by loss’, with each certificate claiming to represent a negative par value of -0.09937734 ETH.

Featuring an important part of on-chain generative art's story and evolution, "Proof of Concept" (which was curated by Clara Peh and ran from Jan. 6–15 for Singapore Art Week), showcased multiple works from The Fingerprints' Collection, including Protoglyph and several Autoglyphs by Larva Labs, as well as an artwork from DAO member Aaron Penne's Within/Without collection.
